If you’re a Calista fan, you know that we’re always upgrading our tools – especially the fan favorites! This past spring, we came out with our newest update: The AirGlide Pro Cool Breeze Styler. A new-and-improved version of the original AirGlide, the pro model was created to give you a new do-it-all tool to simplify your styling routine.
About the Tool
Curl, wave, smooth, and straighten with the AirGlide Pro. Upgraded from the original AirGlide, the pro model features snag-free floating plates that open wider to accommodate more hair and a one-touch button to control temperature and airflow. As always, you can depend on the signature Calista Fusion Technology that combines ionic and ceramic properties for less frizz and more shine.
Why the Upgrade?
Maria McCool was hearing from customers and clients alike about the things they loved (and didn’t love) about the original AirGlide. While the no-clamp plates were useful for some hair types, others found they didn’t open wide enough or hold enough hair at a time. While the cool air function worked for some, others found it to be too loud and not as effective as they’d hoped. Based off this feedback, Maria got to work with manufacturers to create a tool that kept the beloved features of the AirGlide, but gave the tool some necessary upgrades. With the Pro model, easy-open plates with spring-loaded button open up to 4” wider to accommodate more hair. Additionally, the combined Power + Cool Air Button with second-generation motor offers a stronger airflow with less noise.
