"My hair doesn't naturally have a lot of shine, so I was excited to see what this could do. I wasn't disappointed. My hair is fine yet dry and frizzy, which can make it impossible to find products that hydrate without weighing down. This Gloss gives a lustrous yet natural finish that I can't seem to aquire on my own. I enjoy using it and the benefits I get from doing so."
"This is a very nice product for someone who has low porosity hair and is able to retain moisture, however, due to the fact that I have high porosity hair, my hair doesn’t retain moisture as readily so I found that it wasn’t extremely moisturizing for my type. However, the ingredients in general are super hydrating, and I love the slip that this product comes with. It was easy to disperse through my hair. Additionally, I really love the scent. It’s like a very clean floral sweet scent that lingered after I blow dried my hair. I just wish it packed a punch for high porosity, but I’m sure someone who has low porosity hair would really enjoy this product. I think it’s also very cool that it can last for 5 to 6 washes that you don’t need it all the time!"
"This product is perfect for giving your hair that amazing and bright shine. You use it on damp or dry hair depending on how much your hair really needs it. If putting in damp hair you leave it on for 20 minutes or so and then wash it out, then blow or air dry. I’ve used it twice already and my hair has been looking amazing and super shiny and healthy. I’ve had a couple of compliments of how good my hair has looked. It makes me feel really good. My mom has dry and damaged hair and I let her use it, she was obsessed after that. The results and the way your hair looks and feels truly speak for themselves. No matter what your hair type is, using this will give you a beautiful shine to your hair. I highly recommend this product and brand to everyone!"
"I tested out this product about a week ago. I usually get glosses 2-3x per year with my hair dresser. I used to have a balayage so my ends would get dull, but I’ve since grown out the balayage and we just tone it similar to my natural roots. Anyways, it’s basically full grown out now so I like to get a gloss every so often to give it some life again. I was really excited about this product because the winter has my ends looking not so great. I was excited to be able to do a gloss at home versus paying $90+. Truthfully, I didn’t see any difference. I followed all the instructions on the bottle. Left on for the full 20 minutes. Even with a blowout and some good hair oil, didn’t see much improvement. I really wanted to love this and maybe I’ll give it another go in the future to see if it was a user error."
"I did not enjoy this product on my hair at all. It made my hair feel frizzy and not sleek or shiny. It smells nice enough and feels great going on your hair and rinsing out. However unless you decide to use a lot of heat on your hair, the product isn't worth it in my opinion. I air dry my hair and it honestly looked better before I added this into my routine. The instructions are extremely vague. It says leave on for 5-30 minutes on wet or dry hair. That's it. A small couple of sentences for you to try and figure out how to appropriately use it, whether you use it before or after shampoo/conditioner, rinse it alone after use on dry hair, etc. I prefer different types of products with very clear instructions, especially when dealing with my hair."

I like using it on clean, damp hair after shampooing, applying it evenly from mid lengths to ends and letting it sit for about 10–15 minutes before rinsing. It instantly boosts shine without changing your color, which makes it perfect for keeping hair looking fresh between salon visits. The formula feels really conditioning and leaves hair soft, smooth, and noticeably less frizzy without weighing it down. After rinsing and styling, my hair looks glossier and healthier, and the results last through several washes. It’s an easy, low maintenance way to get that polished, just treated look at home."
"I’ve been testing out Calista’s Clear Shine Enhancement Gloss at home for the past few weeks and I like the product. I’ve only used this product once as it is supposed to last a couple of hair washes. I used this in place of my regular conditioner in the shower, however I wrung out all the water out before applying. This is a thicker gloss with an unremarkable smell and I left it on for around 20 minutes while I continued my shower. This gloss made it really easy to detangle my hair and honestly this is quickest I’ve been able to detangle. In terms of shine, I believe my hair has been shinier after the gloss, but it has subtly diminished after subsequent washes. Overall, this is a good product for those looking to add shininess to their hair and for easy detangling."
"The Calista Gloss Clear Shine Enhancement sounded like a great idea, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. The very first thing I noticed was the smell—it was very chemical-like and strong enough to fill my entire bathroom, which was not pleasant. On a positive note, the consistency was nice; it wasn’t too thick or too thin and applied easily without feeling heavy on the hair. I did notice a slight increase in shine after using it, but the results were very short-lived. Despite the product claiming to last through 7–8 washes, the shine only lasted for about two washes at most. For the price and promises made, I expected much better performance. Because the results didn’t match the claims and the scent was overpowering, I wouldn’t recommend this product."
"Wowwww!!! This product seriously delivered. It has the cutest sleek packaging and you get a lot of product in there! Granted you do need to be generous with your application however the amount of shine I had and it also LASTED was unreal! I also tried it on a few of my clients who also noticed significant improvement to their shine in their hair. It smells AMAZING and it was super easy to use. I left mine on damp hair for about 15-20 minutes and the conditioning agents in this product also made my hair super soft and even though it didn’t promote this I also noticed my hair wasn’t as frizzy either! So the moisture really helped. I love how my hair looks and feels! Especially because of how dark it is my hair often looked dull but not anymore! 10/10. Calista for the win!"
"I used the Calista GLOSS Clear Shine Enhancement on my hair after shampoo (hair was still wet) and left it in for a couple of minutes before washing out. Not sure if this is the proper/best technique, but it worked for me. Even as I was washing I could tell that my hair felt really soft. When I got out, I let my hair air dry and brushed it as usual. It was definitely softer and looked a little bit shiner to me. I used it over 2 weeks and did notice a difference. My hair felt shiner and more hydrated. I noticed less frizziness and my hair didn't get tangled as easily or frequently as it did before. I didn't notice any side affects or issues after noticing this, so I have no complaints. I do like this product a lot and will continue using it and will probably buy it once finished."
